Immigration Postcard Campaign / July 14 - August 5, 2018 - In collaboration with the position of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, the Archdiocese of San Antonio is conducting a postcard campaign to urge Congressional representatives to continue pursuing comprehensive immigration reform that gives legal status to Dreamers, respects the rights of persons seeking asylum in our country and preserves the unity of families. These postcards are addressed to Senators Ted Cruz and John Cornyn, and to the House member for your House District. We are asked to start the postcard campaign at Mass this weekend.
1.  Our parish has received the postcard pages from the Archdiocese and we are urged to complete the postcards. This is not obligatory - you are free to participate or not.
2.  These postcards are for registered voters. If you are not registered to vote, you can still help by taking the postcard pages to your families, neighbors, friends, schools, etc. Please take as many as you think you need.
3.  Each page has 3 postcards: 2 postcards for our Senators and 1 postcard for your Representative. You need to fill in the last name of your Representative. Do not cut the postcards apart.
4.  You can either fill out the information on the postcards before you leave Church today or you can fill them out at home and return them at your earliest opportunity. A box is on the podium in the entrance of Church for the completed card sheets or you may drop them off at the church office. Additional forms are there as well.
5.  You will need to return your pages to the designated box in Church or to the church office by Sunday, August 5th. We will deliver them to the Pastoral Center on Monday, August 6th.
